		<description>One of the ideas that has come up for me in the past few moths is the idea of Agile Teaching Spaces or more generally Agile Language Labs. This idea arose organically from the influence of agile development models used in Stanford Libraries and probably from development models used to create good software. This blog posting suggests a collaborative writing experiment to modify the the Agile Development Model Manifesto to Agile Language Lab Operation Manifesto. The source manifesto is located at http://agilemanifesto.org/ The spirit of its principles fits the demands of the next generation Language Lab.

&lt;strong&gt;Manifesto for Agile Software Development&lt;/strong&gt;
We are uncovering better ways of developing
software by doing it and helping others do it.
Through this work we have come to value:

Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on
the right, we value the items on the left more.
